postpartum care
My intention in your postpartum visit is for you to feel deeply held and seen in your new becoming. The physical and spiritual process of healing and learning your new reality as a parent can be as intense as it is beautiful in its highs and lows. You deserve to be deeply witnessed and nourished through it all.
Postpartum after loss is incredibly hard, and it can feel invisible. You deserve to be held, seen, and nourished as you grieve. Your body requires tenderness and care as you heal from pregnancy and birth and navigate an unthinkable loss. I believe that even through birthing loss, you have birthed a new version of yourself and I am here as a resource and support.
Postpartum care includes meeting prenatally to build a relationship, identify your strengths and needs, and create a plan of care to best empower and support you as you journey through the profound transformation of early postpartum. Once you have given birth, I bring my deepest presence and listening skills to you, exactly as you are, along with food, herbs, and bodywork. The composition of each visit will vary depending on your needs. I can provide bodywork appropriate for your healing body, offer support with belly binding, hold space for you to process your birth story, do light housework, watch your other children so you can nap with your newborn, hold your sweet new baby while you have a shower or herbal bath, offer basic breastfeeding support, and do any other small tasks that nourish you. We will identify your priorities and needs together, and when I come into your postpartum nest my highest priority is to hold space for whatever the moment calls for.
Investment for postpartum visits is $100 per hour. This makes a beautiful gift for baby showers, mother blessings, or a show of support for the birthing person in your life.
Please reach out with any questions if you are at all curious about working together. If you think my offerings would be supportive but are worried about finances, please reach out. I want to make my care accessible to the people who need it.
I serve the North Fork Valley and am open to travelling to Delta, Montrose, and the Grand Valley if it feels aligned.
