let things fall into place

Faye began her study of healing as a nursing student in 2017. She has traversed the wilds of our failing healthcare system as a nurse in Arkansas and Colorado hospitals, culminating in a year of work in the ICU in 2021 in the thick of Covid. She has witnessed much death, illness, and medical trauma and sat with her patients and their families through unthinkable loss. Her prayer through all of this was that she could allow it to change her, to make her more compassionate. In 2022 she left nursing with a broken heart from all the suffering she had witnessed. Since completing massage school, she has practiced massage and energy work with breaks for the births of her two children. Giving birth and becoming a mother has been a gritty and transformational process of learning and becoming, remembering the core of who she is.

Faye now lives in her dream town of Paonia, CO with her sweet family. Piñon Roots Healing is her offering for bodywork at her office in Paonia, with home visits throughout the North Fork Valley for pregnancy, postpartum, infant loss, and hospice. The core of her work is to hold space for your body’s innate healing capability, to hold space for a deep pause that lets things fall into place. She is honored to be of service in this community.
